Dear Ladies of The Bead Society:
This is just a note
to tell you how happy I am that I joined the Bead Society and how
much I have enjoyed my experiences with you.
I came across you quite by chance. I was having
a drink in the lounge of the BHCC with my husband on an evening
you were having a meeting to discuss the various beads and stones
colorfully laid out on a long table last summer. I wanted to join
in there and then but felt my husband would not be so inclined
so I got your name and website and came with a friend to your
next meeting at Lois Rose's home nearby.
After a couple of meetings I
became a member and went on your weekend to Arizona in January
with the group. I learned how to make different knots and
macramé from Jamey and have already restrung one
necklace and made two new ones and have bought more beads to make
more pieces. I found the weekend in addition to being fun, very
informative, educational and the museum was quite incredible. I
did not know that such a museum even existed. I was fascinated
by its depth and quantity of so many different beads from all over. I
only wished that I could have spent more time there in the Museum
but hope to go back at a future date.
I just wanted you
to know that I am glad that I found you and have thoroughly
enjoyed the interesting meetings and outings that you arrange.
